Metroid: Other M – First Time Gameplay – 8

The chronicles of my first time through Metroid: Other M. Part 8: A fight with some tricky security robots leads to Samus receiving the Diffusion Beam. She battles some worms, then releases the lock on a door she previously passed, then works her way back to it, taking a detour or two.

The texture mapping in this location is glitched. In the factory there are many empty Sunset Sarsaparilla bottles on the floor that will disappear when looked at directly and reappear when viewed at an angle. However, you can still pick them up if you aim at them as though they were they were visible. Occasionally the same happens to the security robots destroyed by the player and some other objects. An open, broken door leading into a room blocked off with fallen debris is, for no apparent reason, locked at Very Hard.
