Back in Sector 6, Samus is ordered to destroy the BOX Robot that she encountered earlier, and then leave the sector. Because the SA-X is tracking her down. Despite her orders she discovers a major secret in the station, boy she’s gonna get in trouble. After that, I head to a new area near Sector 1, and the next boss is none other than Ridley

Wave Beam Missile Tank x1 (86) Total: 65% Well, going into a restricted area to attract a rogue security robot is an effective tactic, even if it is not entirely intentional… Anyway, BOX is the main focus of this video… pretty much the only focus, actually, considering that the only expansion I collect is completely obvious. My strategy? Pay attention to the markings on the ceiling… If you’re in one specific location halfway between two tiles, your diagonal missiles will hit BOX when it’s standing in the center of the room. Also, when it fires its own missiles, counter by rapid-firing your beam horizontally (not diagonally– this is important). By the way, the Wave Beam Core-X is easier than the Plasma Beam Core-X in my opinion– you have plenty of space to run back and forth here. Random note: The fact that this boss does not have an eye door… is nice because eye door unpredictability is annoying, but is annoying because you don’t get a red X to refill your health before the battle… if you’re not at full health, I suggest farming yellow X off the enemies outside the save point.
